Fall 2015 Couture – Christian Dior

Everyone fell in love with how Raf Simons deconstructed the infamous Dior coat sleeve. It was a sharp and modern turn for the brand who always delivers elegant coats on the runway. I guess it was the perfect time for Simons to inject his own DNA to the brand. The coats looked like a cape in some ways and offered a single sleeve. Mens Spring 2016 – Raf Simons

Season after season I always look for something new when it comes to mens fashion. Lets face it we can only handle enough of the usual suit, shirt and tailored pants combo. Don’t get me wrong there are a lot of designers who try to push the boundaries of mens dressing but sometimes they tend to be quirky or too artistic for street fashion. 2015 OSCAR’s Best and Worst Dressed

The Academy Awards was just concluded last night and boy it was a memorable one. From Patricia Arquette’s equality speech to Lady Gaga’s ultimate reinvention. It will go down in history as one of the most hair raising and heart tugging editions. Also it would be remembered as the one who snubbed Joan Rivers out of their “in memoriam” part. I just don’t understand how they can leave the one who made the red carpet famous and elevated it to its most elegant time ever but this is not the space to dwell on that. Also I think Neil Patrick Harris did a good first time Oscar hosting job and if I have a body like that, I would not mind wearing only my underwear all the time. Continue reading
